PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Site Development –
Permitted numerous development projects ranging in size from
large shopping centers and housing complexes to single family homes and small
additions. Typical services associated with these projects involved wetland delineation,
wetland replication plans, landscape plans, wildlife habitat analysis, vernal pool analysis,
stormwater management, assistance with appeals, etc. Many of these projects required
permit authorizations from the Department of Environmental Protection and local
Conservation Commissions.
Dredging and Dredge Disposal –
Designed and permitted numerous maintenance and
improvement dredging projects with associated beach nourishment, ocean disposal, and
beneficial reuse of dredge material. These projects required permit authorizations from the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act, Department of Environmental Protection,
United States Army Corps of Engineers, and local Conservation Commissions.
Coastal Bank Stabilization –
Designed and permitted numerous coastal bank
stabilization projects to include stabilization via hard solutions (stone revetments, vertical
bulkheads, etc.) and soft solutions (beach nourishment, fiber rolls, geotextiles, vegetation,
etc.). Many of these projects required permit authorizations from the Massachusetts
Environmental Policy Act, Department of Environmental Protection, United States Army
Corps of Engineers, and local Conservation Commissions.
Pier and Float Design and Permitting –
Designed and permitted numerous pier and
float projects to include new structures, removable pier and float sections, pier
reconstruction, Section 10A floats, etc. Permitting for these projects required shellfish
habitat analysis, assistance with bathymetric surveys, salt marsh mitigation, etc. Many of
these projects required permit authorizations from the Department of Environmental
Protection, United States Army Corps of Engineers, and local Conservation
Commissions.
Arboricultural Assessments –
Performed numerous vegetation damage appraisals,
hazard tree assessments, and arboricultural assistance with site development. |
